The Hotel Van der Valk Ridderkerk has spacious rooms that are very comfortable. I loved the breakfast buffet with fresh squeezed orange juice and a wide variety of options. The staff at the reception were friendly and made check-in easy. the service quality in the bar was disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested, and it took a long time to get attention. the cleanliness of the windows in my room was inconsistent, making them look dirty. I also missed having a kettle for tea in my room. Despite these issues, the hotel had all the essential amenities needed for my stay.

The room was super comfy, like my own little palace! Loved the wildflower path leading in—very charming for a bus traveler like me. Ideal for business folks needing all the basics without fuss.
But good heavens, that breakfast buffet was busier than a London train station! the entrance to the hotel rooms felt more like a prison corridor than a luxurious getaway.

comfortable room, but service needs attention
I enjoyed a very comfortable stay in a luxurious executive room. The breakfast spread had a delightful range of options, including fresh-squeezed juice. The hotel's location offered a quiet atmosphere, making it perfect for relaxation after a busy day. I even appreciated the charming walking path with wildflowers. This added a touch of beauty to my arrival.
Service in the bar was slow, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
